please forgive me but i just need a moan, i am sat here writing with one hand as my left hand is in agony, pain full to bend painfull to type and i just feel so depressed, i just feel like crying, why do they have to keep people in pain? I am going camping tomorrow with the kids husband family members and i really dont feel up to it but its been planned and i cant let the kids down, i know i will end up doing and making it worse, Was thinking of going doctors on monday telling them heard nothing and just cant cope anymore lucky i am off work after tomorrow for a week and friday is paperwork day and i know it sounds easy but as u lot know when your hands bad even thats hard. When any one asks why cant i do something and i tell them its like yeah right what ever and i know few of you have had carpol tunnel so u know what its like. I think i am just going to have an early night and see how it goes, I probs wont be on now till sunday so i hope you all have a lovely weekend.xxx

Hi Tina
First of all - have a great weekend.
Secondly, on Tuesday, first thing, get onto the GP, ask for a phone appointment if there are no others available and tell him just how bad the pain is. Ask him to ring Wrightington for you and ask for the first cancellation. Also ask for some proper pain relief until you are seen. This has been going on for far too long now.
You look after yourself
Lots of love Jeanxxxxx

OH Tina, lovely,
You will have a lovely time with your family- but on Tues definitely ring the GP and explain just how you are feeling.
Pain is just agony to live with and there must be something they can offer.
Hope you manage a few glasses (sorry, bottles) of wine this weekend- have one for me too!
Much love, Amanda

Dear Tina,
I know the pain that you are in as I endured it for a long time before having the simple operation which cured it. You have put up with this for such a long time but the time has now come to insist on action. Ask your GP how you can be fast tracked for the consultation with the specialist. Has he not suggested giving you a steroid injection into your wrist? I had 2 before they decided to operate. At least you get partial relief from that.
Thinking of you,
Eleanor x

Hi Tina Sorry, missed the boat on this one! Do hope your weekend went well and the pain hasn't been unbearable for you. At least it has been sunny today but hope you weren't washed away in yesterday's heavy rain, really not the best weather for a camping trip!! It certainly sounds as though urgent attention is required for your wrist. Hope you can be seen quickly by your GP. Wrist injections can be a wonderful pain reliever as an interim measure so do please ask if this is a possibility for you. Alternatively they should be able to offer something to get rid of the ongoing pain. Is Wrightington your nearest hospital? If so, lucky you; it has such a good reputation for orthopaedic surgery! Good luck Tina, thinking about you, Lyn x
